Original vintage Finnish matchbook sleeve advertising Volvo commercial vehicles, issued by regional Volvo dealer V. Rauman Autoliike Oy in northern Finland.

The front features a striking illustration of a classic Volvo truck alongside the slogan “Volvos värde varar” (“Volvo’s value lasts”) — a line that turned out to be less marketing and more prophecy. These were the workhorses of Scandinavia, built for forests, snow, haulage, and absolute punishment.

A proper piece of Nordic industrial design history, celebrating Volvo’s reputation for reliability long before they became lifestyle cars. The kind of vehicle that would outlive its driver, the road, and possibly civilisation.
