Description:
Original vintage wine promotional matchbook sleeve advertising Sidi Brahim, a well-known Algerian red wine produced by Vigna.

The design closely mirrors the bottle label, featuring rich black-and-red typography alongside classic mid-century wine imagery: bottle, grapes, cheese and a filled glass. Text reads “Vin fin vieux – Rouge 14°”, positioning it as a mature, full-bodied table wine.

Sidi Brahim was widely exported to Europe during the mid-20th century, when Algerian wine played a major role in French and continental wine culture. Promotional items like this were handed out in cafés, bars and restaurants and were never meant to survive.

A strong piece of wine, colonial-era, and graphic design ephemera with great shelf presence.

Condition:
Very good vintage condition. Light handling and age-related wear only. Colours remain bold and legible with no major tears or faults.
